About the Hematology/Oncology Institute

More than 150 patients are diagnosed with cancer at Nationwide Children's each year. And with total inpatient admissions and outpatient visits exceeding 13,000 annually, Hematology/Oncology & BMT at Nationwide Children's is the largest facility of its kind in Ohio and one of the largest in the United States. We offer world-class diagnostic, treatment and research facilities that provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care for patients with cancer and acute and chronic blood disorders. We are a National Marrow Donor Program Center and a member of the Children’s Oncology Group.
