Every day, parents from across central Ohio, and around the world, walk through our doors and ask us to cure, to mend, to comfort, to save the one thing they treasure most: a child. Imagine being that parent. Imagine it’s your child. And imagine that you can’t pay for the care. That’s why every gift to Nationwide Children’s matters.
Donor support allows us to stay true to our mission, every child will receive our expert care, regardless of the family’s inability to pay. This mission has not changed in 120 years. But the world has. More and more families are struggling to get by. Who can look into a sick child’s eyes and tell them, “Sorry, we could help you if you had more money.” That’s unacceptable. And it will never happen here.
Exciting news at Nationwide Children's
Nationwide Children’s Hospital has been named the title beneficiary of the Columbus Marathon. This partnership - the Nationwide Children’s’ Hospital Columbus Marathon - has launched a new initiative for 2012 called Children’s Champions. Children’s Champions are participants who chose to run or walk the marathon or 1/2 marathon while fundraising for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. This year's event will take place on Sunday, October 21st. Learn more about joining Children's Champions.
