Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder Services

The Behavioral Health Services comprehensive approach to care is provided by a multidisciplinary team – which may include a psychiatrist, developmental-behavioral pediatrician, nurse practitioner, psychologist, clinical social worker, and clinical counselor – to determine the best treatment options for each child and adolescent.

More than one-third of the children served by Nationwide Children’s outpatient programs require assessment and/or treatment for ADHD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder).

A variety of services are available to assist children, adolescents and families in coping with this disorder. Initial diagnosis evaluations, family education and counseling, behavior management, medication consultation and management, and school consultation/ coordination, are all provided by our specialized professional staff.
