Telephone Decision Support Service

The new Behavioral Health Telephone Decision Support Line provides innovative behavioral health triage, decision support and education to primary care clinicians to help better serve their patients with mental health disorders.

This service is available through the following options:

Telephone Consult Hours
Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

After business hours, please contact the hospital operator
at (614) 722-2000 for the psychiatrist on-call.

Services
Behavioral Health offers telephone support to aide primary care physicians in the recognition, management and disposition planning for their patients with common mental health disorders. Psychiatry staff is available for questions regarding diagnosis as well as questions about complex psychiatric issues and psychiatric medication management.

The Behavioral Health Telephone Decision Support Service is dedicated to providing:

  • Decision support around patient management
  • Aide in disposition planning
  • Facilitation of appointments for the physician’s patient over the telephone
