Physical Abuse - Physical abuse is defined as any non-accidental injury inflicted upon a child by a parent or caretaker.

Sexual Abuse - Sexual abuse is defined as any sexual conduct or contact of an adult or significantly older child with or upon a child for the purpose of sexual gratification of the perpetrator. Sexual assault is sexual contact by a non-caretaker.

Neglect - Neglect is defined as failure to provide for a child's basic physical and/or emotional needs, the consequences of which adversely affect the child's physical or emotional well-being.
